I forgot to tell you about the fun filled weekend- a RUGHunion. :) All four Rugh girls were back together and so were our parents, spouses, and all the kiddos! That rarely happens, but for some reason it's been happening a little more frequently (Thanksgiving, Grandpa's funeral, and now last weekend...). I like Rughunions.
Matt and Molly were in town for Missions Weekend (something our church put together to help us get to know our missionaries). It was neat to hear various missionaries talk about their work and experiences (in the little amount of time they had). And I was so proud of my sister and her man- missionaries from Texas.
Because Matt and Molly were in town, my sister, Katie (in Minnesota), decided to come down with her family so they could see M&M too and we could have a Rughunion. Of course we all loved that. There were plenty of kids to squish and snuggle, laugh and giggle. That's the kind of day I enjoy.
My sisters and I sang in church on Sunday. That was a special treat for us. We used to sing in church together a lot growing up. But when we all go off and do our own things, everything changes. So lately its been "Jessica and Sarah" and not "The Rugh Girls." (Jessica and I are the only girls left in Elgin.)
It was a great weekend. Plenty of people, food, fun, laughter, silliness, and of course- LOVE.
A little show that the girls did for us...
Evie doing her "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" dance routine.
Drama queen.
