Random Thoughts of the Day

Mi papi es muy fabuloso. :)
(He came over to pump the tires on my car, help me clean it out, and charge the battery. He also stole some of my photos off of my computer and he's going to make a joint CD of everybody's photos from our RUGHunion weekend. OH! And he brought me a CD of The Emerys (from a concert at church a couple weeks back) and also let me borrow the CD he bought of the Emery Brothers. I told you he was fab!)

The heat is back!?!

Tastefully Simple is amazing.
(It tastes so gooooooooooooood and it is so simple to use! Go figure! You would've never guessed that by product name, would you?)

God is AWESOME!

Caffeine is usually not a very good friend to me.
(So why do I keep holding on?)

I LOVE flip flops.
And it's a pretty good thing that I don't work for Head Start anymore. They wouldn't let me wear flip flops to work. Not even on training days or teachers work days. They kept sending notes to my school about how somebody from the east side was spotted wearing flip flops. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR NOT JUST COMING UP TO ME TO TELL ME IT WASN'T ALLOWED! Instead, we must make a big deal about it. And when everybody in the entire school said "I don't wear flip flops!" I hung my head in shame, turning bright red, and announcing- under my breath- "I do."

I miss teaching.
