In Addition...

In addition to the previous post, I wanted to say a couple more things...

I don't stand for those stupid bumper stickers, mugs, canvas bags, or t-shirts that say "I'm so crafty I can make people!" I see women with those stupid things and it makes me sick. I'd like to see you make something out of nothing, because that's what GOD does. God created people- not you. (And no, I'm not jealous- just irritated by the ignorance.)

Also- if/when I do become a mom, I refuse to be prideful of it. I am so disheartened by women that use their children to define them. They can't think or live outside of the world of their children... it's not that they love their babies so much... it's just that they let it consume them and define them. These are the women whose social lives consist of play dates. They don't go anywhere without their children. I plan to love my child- enough to give him/her a break from me once in awhile! (LOL!) Did you know they actually make little business-type cards for moms like this? You can have them made (I saw them on Kodak!) to pass out to women you meet at play dates, the pool, the library, etc... Wow. I am simply unimpressed.
