You Got to Have Friends...

I have a friend that's home from the Navy. I actually went to middle school and high school with him, and he went to my church too. Anyway; he asked if we could get some friends together while he was in town (only for a couple weeks... boo). So I did! I had a bunch of my friends over last night. It was so cool! I had Matt- from the Navy- which I've known since 7th grade, I think. Then I had another friend from high school (Lewis) here... A friend (Rachel) that I know because she's the sister of another friend I have... A friend I met in college (Fran), and then again at another college... A friend I met through friends (Justin)... and then two friends from church (Darryl and Jack). It was such a cool group to hang out with. And of course, since they are my friends, they were lots of fun too!

We played a bunch of games. One game my friend, Rachel, calls "Telephone Pictionary." While my sister, Molly, might tell you it's called "Pictophone." It was super fun and super funny. Somehow we ended up with all kinds of silly things. Example: Rachel claimed that a picture she received was titled "Macaroni boot in the west, thunderstorm/tornado in the middle, canon in the east of the US." We all got a big kick out of that one. We also had one titled "Chaos." Which somehow, at Matt, became some very neat and tidy squiggly lines... which I in turn interpreted as music rests.

We played Mafia too... one of my favorites. And guess what!?! I even won it once! I'm not sure I've ever won as the Mafia! I stumped everybody even though I said something really stupid and almost gave myself away. LOL.

You know you're having a good time when it's about 2am and you thought it was 11pm. Oops! Oh well... good times, good times.
