Encouragement?

It's been one of those days.

Rolled out of bed and now I've been tired all day, headachey, stressed, sad, lonely, irritated, etc...

I could use some encouragement.




Last night was our first home study. It was just fine. Our case worker is a sweetheart, and Jeff and I felt very comfortable opening up to her. She encouraged us by telling us she can have our home study done by Christmas! She thinks it can be done by Christmas with even a week or so to spare! I think I like this lady!

She gave us a book to read (funny thing is, it's one that I checked out of the library last adoption process!). And we have some "homework." We also have to take some classes online that total 8 hours or 8 credits. And she will give us our other 2 hours of training. That's all we'll need! Not so bad, huh? Other than that, we'll wait to find out what's in store for us. I'm very excited.

I know many people don't get babies right away. It can take even three years sometimes! But I would love love love to get a baby sometime soon. Next year looks good to me. What do you think? (God's timing. I know.)
