Catching Up

Who is that cutie?!? The one up there, with the blog title? Oh him? That's my husband. Well, I mean... that would be my husband- as a baby. He was adorable, huh?

Please remember to be praying for Stellan. Click on his mom's blog over there (mycharmingkids) for updates. He's in the hospital right now, and really fighting for his life.

Jeff and I venture back out to Wheaton tonight for our first home study session with our case worker. I think I'm a little nervous, but also excited because this is just one step closer to getting our baby. Please also remember us in your prayers in these days, weeks, months, maybe even years ahead.

Today was laundry catch up day. I love to do laundry, so I never really dread it. But somehow it all piled up suddenly. I realized this when I didn't have any pairs of sweats left or any pairs of jeans left. When I went down to sort the laundry, it almost screamed at me! It was all piled up down there... a massive mountain of laundry. Yikes! I'll try not to wait so long next time.

The baby's room is really coming along. We did get the package of goodies in the mail... it was very quick. We won the bid on Tuesday of last week, and I think the package came on Friday. Wow! Sadly, the mobile was missing a piece. But my dad and my sister came to my rescue. My sister let me use the mobile fixture from one she had and my dad figured out a clever way to make my piece attach to it. It's super cute and kind of makes the room more precious.

Pictures will come soon... hopefully pretty soon.

Hmmm... what else has been happening in my life lately?

Being laundry day, I had to catch up on making laundry soap. I don't really like the process of making the soap, but it's so worth it. It saves us a ton of money. I make 3 jugs of laundry soap for about 50cents. That's 3 jugs for 50cents. Yes, you heard correctly. Pretty awesome, huh?

Jeffrey came home sick from work on Friday. He was fine all weekend, but then he stayed home again today. His job is stressing him out, so I think it makes him sick. (Believe me, my job did the same thing to me.) I am praying for him... that things will get better and that he'll feel well at work. He's a hard worker and a great provider for us. I hope this passes quickly.

I guess that's all for now. I just wanted to check in and say hello.
