Home Made Kitty Litter

When money is tight, we get creative. Well, we need to think about where we spend ridiculous amounts of money... one is on kitty litter. We go through a lot! I searched online and learned to make kitty litter out of shredded paper and baking soda. I tried it (my dad keeps asking me if I tried it yet, so he'll be so pleased to hear the news!), and.... drum roll please... I think it works! I don't smell anything, and the cats do a great job hiding their business! It's kinda neat. The only problem I can see is that when they jump out of their boxes, there are little paper shreds on the floor... which I guess is better than having kitty litter stuck to everything! THAT was getting annoying! Anyway... hooray for saving money and hooray for home made kitty litter!
