Freecycle

I've gotten a couple responses about the paint color- and I even had a dream one night that the yellow will cover all the walls. So we shall see what happens!

I have been so blessed by freecycle. I picked up a cradle the other day! It is so pretty! I hope one day we can use it. The same lady gave me all kinds of sippy cups (all in great shape!) and some baby clothes- which are totally adorable. She also gave me 2 kiddopotomus swaddlers. I had never heard of it before, but they look so cute and perfect!

I also got a bunch of stuff from a lady that was helping a single mom get back on her feet. I guess the mom took off and left a bunch of stuff behind. The sad part is that most of it is junk... actually, all of it. =( So I will not be holding onto any of it. But that's okay.

One lady gave me a bunch of coupons and some unopened milk! We didn't desperately need milk, but it sure helps to save money!

Another lady gave us cat pan liners (which are too expensive in stores... we usually make some out of garbage bags), unopened bottle of V8 Pina Coloda juice, unopened bottle of tylonal, some unopened packages of coffee, an unopened bottle of coffee/hot cocoa flavoring, and unopened bottles of lotion. What a blessing!

Last night I started babysitting a little girl from my church. Her mom works into the evening, and her day care closes, so I pick her up from day care and she comes to hang out with me until her mom picks her up. We'll do this about 2 times a week. When I picked her up from school/day care, she wouldn't talk to me. She was so shy. She hardly talked at all for the first hour or so. Then, at supper time, we were all sitting down (Mr. Jeff, me, and our little friend, M) and she started to talk. When Mr. Jeff left for Bible study, she talked a lot more and even got silly. She was so well behaved and very sweet (and silly- I like some silliness).

We found 2 wish bones in the chicken last night. I told M what it was all about and she was so excited to pull them apart. I have a picture of us working on it...

This is M, watching Dora... she's so cute.

This is M, and my hand, as we pull the wishbone apart.
