We were able to get the skids (pallets) down tonight. They are set up down in the basement. So this week, whenever I have time, I will start to organize the basement, putting things on the skids and just totally organizing. I can't wait! Once it's all organized, I will mop the floor down there. Then I'll start creating the playroom and my work room (craft room). I'm very much looking forward to it!
I'm not sure I'll get to work on it tomorrow. I have a lot to clean in the upstairs. And I am taking my grandpa (if he feels okay) to his "day care" tomorrow, picking him up, and also going over because I am going be cleaning the bathroom at his house. That won't take all day, but it will take some time. I also need to start looking for a job... some day soon.
One thing I'm excited about, though... I more than likely will be able to get my feet wet in the photography world! I have a friend getting married at the end of this coming summer... and I asked her if she'd want me to be (let me be) an extra photographer so I could get experience. She was excited and said I could! I will do it totally for free (I think I'll even be using her camera!), but it's all for the experience and so that she can be blessed... I hope! I will have to read up on things and figure out what I'm going to do. Any advice? And if it's your wedding, which I know you read my blog... ahem... then you can't give advice. It will only make me more nervous. Just kidding...
I was excited to talk to some friends this week and learn that a lot of people are following my blog. That's so cool! I write it for more of a journal, but I love knowing people are reading (and even praying). That's awesome!
I added a couple more songs... "Something So Strong" is a special song to me. A really really great, close family friend of ours made me a mix tape when I had my surgery in 1998. This song was on it. And it really encouraged me to be strong. I just like the song anyway. And I added "Broken Road" too... because that's pretty much what Jeff and I were each like before we met. We have our pasts... our stories... but God was there and He still joined us together. =)

ReplyDeletek. so exciting about the photography opp! (do I know who's getting married, by the way?) I would start just looking at people's photography websites, just to get a feel for ideas, what you like, etc. I have a few friends doing some and can e-mail them to you if you want.
