Bible Study Christmas Party

Tonight was our Bible Study Christmas party. Even though it was quite awhile after Christmas, it was so super fun. The girls were very fun to be with... they usually are, but the relaxed night was great for all of us. We played Christmas Scattergories, and came up with some pretty funny things. We also did Secret Santa. We decided to do Secret Santas right after studying about being a virtuous woman... a Proverbs 31 woman. So our goal was to give a gift (under $10) that would be thrifty, crafty, or something like that. The girls did a great job! They were really good spending the money and thinking of the person they had. I loved what I got. It was book called "What I Love About You." It's a journal type book where you fill in answers and answer questions. Basically, you fill it out for you spouse. I am so excited to fill it out and give it to Jeffrey for Valentines Day. How cool is that!?! The cool thing about the gift is that the girl that gave it to me knew that I was working on my marriage. She also knows I love to fill things out to discover my inner self. What she didn't know, was that I tried to do the "Love Dare" book (featured on the "Fireproof" movie), and I couldn't do it. I got so frustrated with myself because I was unable to do it, and I wanted to badly to show my husband that I love him... but I really struggled. So now I'll just work on this new book and once I finish that, I'll work on the "Love Dare" book.

It was a great night!!!
