Well, for starters... it's 11:15pm, and Jeffrey is downstairs in the basement, cleaning up a mess from our sink overflowing again. This happened back in June, if any of you might remember. My dad was able to reroute the washing machine so it didn't empty into the sink. But it has backed up into the sink, and overflowing onto the floor. What a mess! I guess Daddy will be busy again! Fortunately, nothing got ruined, and we caught it right away. I was just upstairs when I heard water pouring onto the floor... and so it goes... again!
As you know, I've not been feeling well lately... stomach issues, nausea, and even irregular "girl days." Well, my regular doctor (my internist) wonders if it's my gall bladder, so I will be having an ultrasound done on my gall bladder. My obgyn doctor says that she felt fluid in my stomach, which is not good. What's funny, is I've felt it- for a long time now. I never really knew what to think. I've seen my regular doctor often, and my cardiologist, and nobody's said anything about it. But I've felt it! I can feel is slosh around in there when I move a lot (dance with my kids at work, etc...), and I can feel it when I push on my belly.
Right now, we don't know what to think. The obgyn says the first thing she thinks of is liver trouble. And she's sure that the gall bladder ultrasound will reveal the fluid in my abdomen.... which will bring reason for more testing. She also said that one common reason for fluid in the belly is cancer... so of course I'm scared. I did email my cardiologist to see if this had anything to do with my heart issues. I will wait to hear back from her.
So... that's our "Oh brothers" for now...
