What Next?

Life is only getting crazier!

I now have a sinus infection, in addition to all the other health problems... My doctor's gonna think I'm crazy when I call tomorrow for another antibiotic! I just finished the last one up! My goodness!

Our plumbing is all messed up. The water is coming up through the utility sink the basement... and I mean... any water... toilet water (NASTY!), bath water, laundry water... all of it. And if we aren't careful, it will overflow onto the basement floor. We have cleaned up a handful of floods this week. My dad has been down there a handful of times to try to fix it, and we're pretty much not sure what to do next, but we're worried it will cost a handful of money... YIKES!

I have an ultrasound scheduled for my gall bladder on Wednesday. I'm not too worried about it. I just want to get it over with. Fortunately, Jeff will be able to go with me, so I have some peace about that. We'll just see what happens.

Because of a lack of a dryer and because of the recent plumbing issues, our laundry is totally backed up... weeks of it. And I was going to head to the laundromat today, but Jeffrey was gracious enough to take some of it to his mom and dad's house to wash and dry while he watches the Bears game. That will be so nice to have clean clothes, especially ones that are dry!!! We have been hanging our clothes up on a rack inside to dry. I miss the soft dried feel of clean laundry.

Our "babies" are doing okay- no recent fleas visiting. They're sharing litter boxes, which I think is totally weird. Bailey started to use Sydney's, and I'm not sure how he felt about that. But then he used her box, and she got really upset! She was yelling at him and biting him. It was pretty funny.

Speaking of funny, to end this, I will tell you a short little conversation I had with my mom the other day... it made us laugh really hard, and hopefully it makes you laugh too. Laughter IS the best medicine. It went like this:
Mom: "What else do I usually make for Thanksgiving?"
Sarah: "Ummm... the chicken for Grandma."
Mom: "No I don't. Grandma can eat turkey."
Sarah: "Oh yeah. I'm thinking of Easter. I got my Jesus holidays mixed up... you know, His death and His birth."
Mom: "You mean His resurrection?"
Sarah: (laughing) "Yes. His resurrection and His birth..."
Mom: (laughing) "Since when was Jesus born on Thanksgiving?"
Sarah: (pause)
Mom: (still laughing)
Sarah: "I'm confused..."
(Then we both laughed really hard...)
