Well, although we haven't been able to sit down and really talk about it, it sounds as if I will be quitting my job come January. We're not sure what this means. I have been so blessed to have people make suggestions to me as far as new job possibilities. I will keep everybody posted as I look into some of those suggestions. This is going to be a huge leap of faith, as we trust God with our lives- financially and then also for my health and well being. But we know our God is GREAT and He is mighty to save... He will carry us through anything we go through. Deep down, I am feeling that this is a God-honoring decision. We will see things unfold and trust that He will always bless us.
We have treated the cats for fleas one last time (HOPEFULLY!). They seem to be flea-free. Jeffrey's parents let us borrow their awesome vaccuum cleaner. It's one of those hi-tech ones... I call it super sonic... but I have no clue about it. We are hoping that helped suck up any extra fleas or flea eggs... we'll see.
Sydney was put on a weight loss diet. The previous vet had him only on a weight management diet... which maintains weight, not loses it. So he didn't lose any weight. Now we'll see if he makes any progress. I sure hope this works.
Okay- I have to run off to nursing home. Jeffrey and I volunteer at a nursing home on Saturday mornings. We're supposed to leave in about 2 minutes. Just wanted to stop and update ya'll.
what do you do at the nursing home? its something i've considered doing with the children sometime because i think it would be so good for all of us, but i'm clueless and a little afraid.
ReplyDeleteAND, not to be selfish, but the trial you're going through and seeing your attitude is helping me through mine. thanks for sharing.
