I don't know every single person that views my blog. Unfortunately, if I want friends and family to be able to view it easily, I have to keep it public. I am a very open person- I love to share about my life and about my thoughts. I don't mind people knowing the real me... even if it's people I'm not even aware of that are viewing my blog.
I have listed (to the left of my blog) other places I visit... blogs of my friends and family members or even just really cool blogs I'm stumbled upon. It is my assumption that some of you that read my blog might wander over and click on some of those other blogs that I like to follow.
I was sad to hear that somebody (anonymously) left a rude, insulting comment on a friend's blog. First of all... we're adults. Why do we have to act like we did in junior high or high school?
What's sad is that I am pretty sure that the person that left that rude comment was in fact somebody that went to school with me and that particular friend. The comment that was left was something that was said to her in junior high and high school... and I think only people that went to school with us would be ignorant enough to come up with that comment.
In addition, I am sad to think that allowing my Facebook friends access to my blog has led somebody over to her blog and then prompted them to leave a nasty comment.
So, in conclusion, I am pretty sure that whoever said that to my friend is/was a Facebook friend of mine. I'm sorry- but I think higher of my friends. And I think that as adults, it is unnecessary for us to act so immaturely.
I am rethinking leaving my blog address on my Facebook page. I'm also rethinking allowing my friends to view this friend's blog from my blog. All because of immaturity and cruelty. Now that's sad...
