Voting Day!

I voted today! Not only that, I felt like an educated voter when I went it... I wasn't just guessing on who to vote for based on their names. Yes, I've done that before. "Oh! I like his/her name, so I'll vote for them since I have no clue what I'm doing..." Instead, I did some research before I went in to vote. Now, before you are ready to pat me on the back and say "Good work! Our little girl is growing up!" I have to be honest with you- I made my dad walk me down to vote and he waited outside the room for me. I was nervous. But I did it! And my vote counts.

  1. You go girl. This was the first election since I was eligible that I didn't vote. :( I moved just a few days too late to be able to vote in my new home town. And I didn't get an absentee ballot. Oh well, at least I can vote next time. Glad you felt educated too!

  3. Yay! I voted too and I was nervous too! I had to go to a new polling place. At the polling place, I think they were expecting me to vote electronic but I voted paper 'cause that's what I'm used to.
