Jeff came home the other night with a RedBox movie- Toy Story 3. First of all- I'm not one for "surprises" to my evening. I know, you probably think I'm really OCD or something. I like to know how things are going to go, and I like them to go pretty much as planned. A movie wasn't in our plan. But he had already gotten it, and he was so excited to watch it.
I have a feeling that if I were really interested in seeing Toy Story 3, I probably would've begged to go see it in the theater. Which I didn't. I wasn't too excited about it, actually.
But Jeffrey was excited. And so I sat down with him (not without a snack in my hand, of course... you know me!) and we watched the movie.
Much to my surprise, I really really liked it! It was cute, funny, a little scary (yes, I was yelling at the TV, and shouting "JUST PUSH THE BUTTON! HURRY!" to the bear), but it was well done, I think. And as a former preschool teacher, I appreciated the fact that the toys do not stay in the day care (sorry if I ruined that for you!). I mean seriously, people... who REALLY lets their children abuse toys like that??? I loved how it ended, though- perfectly!
If you haven't seen it yet, and if I haven't ruined it too much for you yet... GO SEE IT!
I haven't seen Toy Story 3 yet, now I'm interested in seeing it. I heard there were some sad parts?
