Thanking God for Hardships

I am thankful for the hardships. It is in the times when I feel helpless that I turn to God for answers. And when I'm turning to Him, I draw nearer to Him... so when I am bombarded with a lot of hardships (not just in my life, but also in the lives around me), I pray and pray and soak in God's promises.

So this year, I am thankful for the hardships because THAT is why I am drawing closer to my Lord and Savior.
