Random Thoughts I've Been Thinkin'

** I love it when I come home and the cats' toys are out. We usually keep them in a box, but the kitties get them out (by themselves) and play while we're gone.

** I feel sneaky today... I have to keep logging into Jeffrey's personal email account to check the status of something for him today... might miss my nap for it... but it's fun being sneaky.

** Why does pop (soda) have to be bad for you? Why does it have to be so yummy if it's not good for you?

** The Christmas music would feel a lot cheerier if it were snowing out. I mean, how am I supposed to listen to "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..." or "Baby it's cold outside..." if it's really not snowing nor is it that cold!?!

** I had lunch with a good friend of mine yesterday... we were talking about how many people we know or know somebody that is close to them that have been dying. It's crazy! It makes me feel sad... but it also makes me appreciate my salvation and the fact that I know where I will be going when I die. (Ain't no grave gonna hold me back...)

** Nothin' better than a hug from your niece (or nephew!).

** I was driving my mom's car last night (with Kermit the Frog buckled into the booster seat in the back) and listening to her Christmas tape that it's in the car. I took a turn kinda quick just as RunDMC's "Christmas in Hollis" started. It was exhilarating! And I started laughing as I thought about how much MORE fun it would've been if my mom were in the car with me.

** That thought (above) got me thinkin' about how lucky (blessed!) I am to have such a wonderful mom and dad. I don't know if any other kid out there is/was as blessed as I am. They are two of my very best friends. God smiled on me the day I was born, because He placed me in the perfect family.

** If I were richer, would I stop and buy a Frappe every time I was out?

** If a picture is worth a thousand words, how come I can only think of about 10 words whenever I look at one?

** Don't you hate it when you buy a gag gift for somebody and then when you get home and think more about it, you can't really see yourself giving it to that person and/or that person even thinking it's funny!?!

** What goes around comes around. (I really do believe that. Although, I don't believe in karma.)

** Why does Christmas cost so much? I mean- the decorations, the paper, the bows, the presents. What would happen if we had a Who Christmas- everything gone except our holiday cheer.
