The Whiny Post

I don't like to whine. But sometimes I do.

I don't like to complain. But that's avoidable too.

I don't like to be pessimistic, but we all know it's true...

Life ain't always fun or fair- and that's why I have YOU!




So... it's been incredibly hot out. Not just warmish... but HOT! Yikes. I don't like heat. I don't care for humidity either. And it's been much of that too. I've been praying for cooler weather and it looks like that will be just around the corner (next week, perhaps?). I feel so badly for people without air conditioning (ahem- Daddy!). And I feel badly for people that need to be around me during hot days (ahem- Jeff!). I'm sort of cranky.

The hernia? Yeah- it's horrible. Seriously. I totally overdid it at the wedding I helped with... and it has been almost non-stop pain since then. There's not much I can do but to relax. Doctor wants me off of my feet as much as I can be until surgery. That's hard to do. But I try. I really do- it hurts too much to be on my feet, so why wouldn't I try? I am having surgery on August 23rd... about a week and half. I can make it, right?

Because I'm in so much pain, the house has sort of, um, fallen apart. Yeah- not so good. I need to get myself back into gear and clean up around here.



BUT FOR NOW...

I am a happy girl with her family all around- all my sisters are "home." And we're havin' FAMILY TIME!
