I Need Your Help

So guess what? Jeff and I will actually NOT be going anywhere for our anniversary this year. The reason(s) being:

* His work gave him a couple/few days off when my grandpa passed away back in February.

* His work gave him a bunch of days off for various adoption things (which didn't end up working out for our benefit anyway).

* His work has given him time for my surgeries (both the one in January and now this one in August).



I feel bad for him- he could really use a vacation. Here's where I need YOUR help. Give me ideas of something we can do, just the two of us, for a weekend or one night or whatever. A hotel idea? Dinner idea? But keep mind we don't have a ton of money to spend, I'll still be recovering from surgery (nothing too crazy like horseback riding or hiking...), and we also can't be too far from home (probably only 1-2 nights away).
