She is a very organized person. She uses spreadsheets for everything- even her wedding. And she created an 18 page itinerary for her wedding weekend. I kid you not, people, it was detailed down to the minute that each person walked down the aisle! I (being one of the attendants- fortunately, there were two of us) had to keep track of this 18 page masterpiece and let NOTHING happen to it as well as make sure everything went just as planned. I was so nervous- worrying about what would happen if I missed something or if something get messed up. But fear not! Everything went quite well despite a few set backs (groom had the wrong sized clothes and so photos got delayed quite a bit, bride hyperventilated because she failed to practice and draw attention to- in the printed up programs- the grandparents' flowers, and the groom finally getting the RIGHT clothes, but having the wrong tie completely). All of which- I can proudly say- were NOT my fault. :)
I was able to breathe again and enjoy myself at the reception... I even suggested to the other attendant and all the bridesmaids that we run over to the bride with the "schedule" and rip it all up in pieces in front of her... which we did. She laughed pretty hard and then picked up some of the pieces to pose for a photo with the photographer- so I don't have it- with her frowning. I imagine it was pretty cute. I was so happy to shred those papers. However, one her bridesmaids shouted "Oh no! It's 10:20! What are we supposed to do at 10:33? We don't know, because the schedule is gone." (I'm pretty sure it just said to enjoy ourselves at the reception.)
This is that friend (the dancing buddy) and her fiance.
I've included some other random photos that make me smile:
