Cookies, Sick, Spending Money, and Contest...

Oh my word. My sister, Katie, sent some Christmas goodies home with us on Monday. (I think I failed to mention that after seeing Grandpa, went up to see Katie really quickly...) I just had some of them and... wow! They are so yummy. I hope there are still some there for Jeffrey when he gets home.



I'm still feeling under the weather. I got a migraine last night that has eased some, but is still there. Jeff brought home french fries for me (nothing sounded good!) and he got himself some chicken thingies... ew! They smelled so bad. He had to leave the room so I didn't throw up. I must have some type of flu. Today I am tired, and just all over icky feeling. But it'll get better. I know it will.




We are still waiting to get approved for my social security disability. It's so funny, because while we try not to "count on it," we have been dreaming really big about what we'll do if/when we get it.

Jeff wants to buy an x-box and a flat screen TV... with that, a new TV stand/entertainment center. (Yikes! Who is the disabled person here anyway!?! lol...)

We both plan to pay off our adoption home study fee... we have $2700 left to go. And even after that, we owe $7300! So this money would really help out there, for sure! (Stay tuned, however, because in the next couple months, my friend (Beth) will be adding a donations button to my blog! All that money will go toward our adoption fee!)

As for my plans (if there is any many left, ha ha ha ha...)? I'd like to get some things for the baby's room... a closet hangy thingy to hold baby clothes... I'd also like to get some shelves to hang up on the walls (project for Daddy). And I'd be really excited to get to shop at thrift stores for anything I want to shop for! I have held off a lot since I haven't been working, and that would be really fun.

But like I said- we haven't already spent the money... we're just dreaming.




Anyway; here's a little contest. There's really no prize involved, but just do it for fun. Does anybody know of a secret that I have and have not yet announced? If you read my blog, you should be able to figure it out. I am not going to reveal it, unless of course, somebody guesses correctly. Good luck!
