Muppets Christmas Carol, Sponge Bob, and Dora

For some (strange) reason, Jeffrey really wanted to watch "Muppet's Christmas Carol." Since it's a Christmas movie, I was okay with it. But honestly, I don't remember ever seeing it before. (Go ahead and laugh.)

We started watching and I soon learned that it was not only Muppets in this movie, but real, live people as well. "Why would they have Muppets and people in this movie? That's lame!" I told Jeff. He smiled and told me to keep watching.

I could not take Kermit seriously, though. He was dressed in a suit and worked for Scrooge... although, he was much, much, much smaller than Scrooge.

And the vegetables in the wagon were singing.

The little homeless rabbit was shivering.

The ghost of Christmas past was, um, some sort of angelic child thingy that was quite freaky looking.

And Scrooge's teacher from his past?!? A blue professor Muppet! Ha ha ha ha... yeah. Um... that's a little over the top, isn't it?

I just kept saying "Yeah right, Jeff. This would never happen in real life."

We didn't finish it yet. I haven't met Tiny Tim. (Is he even in this one?) But I'm not sure I can finish. It's a bit much for me.

It reminds me of when Jeff and I took his brother, Austin, to see the Sponge Bob movie in the theater. He was so excited. The movie had hardly started and I was dizzy and had a headache. What in the world!?! Is THAT what animation is? Is that a cartoon? That was complete and utter chaos! When we left the theater, Austin was so happy. I asked if he enjoyed it, and he said he did and then he asked me if I did. "Um, yeah, kind of, I think..." I replied.

I'm sorry. I'm not very good at liking fake things. I don't like fiction books, much. And I prefer movies based on true stories. And cartoons? You can count me out. Unless it's Dora or something...
