Uff Da!

You know our little cat family outside? Well, the one kitten is getting very big. The other is still a little peanut... poor thing! Mama is MIA. I'm kind of worried. Tonight, the tiny baby was crying and appeared to be looking for her. I'm so sad. I don't know what to do. They're like 4 months or so old, so they don't totally need her for food. But still! How sad. I've sort of suspected that she might be pregnant again... so, maybe she's off havin' more babies.

Our cat family has grown... we now have a larger orange cat that likes to have stare down contests with Fluffy as they meow at each other. I don't know how they determine who wins... because there's never a fight or anything. We also have some sort of scraggly, scrappy gray cat that fears all the other cats as well as us. This one is sneaky and only comes around once in awhile.

That leaves us with a grand total of 6 cats (that is, of course, if Mama is still around somewhere). But it doesn't stop there! We also have a cute, yet very intimidating raccoon that comes around. Tonight, he (or she?) walked over, ate some pieces of cat food that was left on the ground, and then I tried to scare it away. It slowly walked away... ho-hum. All the while, the cats were all out! I don't want these cats to be hurt, so I prefer that the raccoon find somebody else to mooch off of. I also prefer that these strays find homes.



Did I update you on medical stuff? I have an appointment to get my hernia looked at again... that will be this coming Thursday. I also have an appointment with the GI doctor to discuss the fluid in my abdomen... that is September 1st. Hopefully we'll start getting these things cleared up soon.
