New Playlist

My previous post was for my mom (obviously), who just got a laptop... she's so groovy now. I asked her if this means that she's a business woman... and she told me that she in fact was, and that also has a flip phone (just a little Romy and Michelle humor). So, Mom, welcome to my blog. Welcome to the internet. Welcome to this awful addiction of the internet. Enjoy!

Okay- I couldn't resist but change my playlist to some silly songs. I'm sorry- I hope nothing is offensive to any of you. Jeff and I love silly songs, and we've really enjoyed listening to this playlist tonight. C'mon, you know you like it too!

I actually have some dedications to make:

1) School of Rock is for my mom. KICK SOME "A!"

2) Lunchlady Land is for my husband, who introduced me to this silly song. He sometimes sings it to me when I make sloppy joes. Silly guy.

3) Five Tweezy isn't really for anybody... just all you American Idol fans.

4) Mullet Pride is for my brother in law, Matt. (Molly, let him know for me!) I am not totally sure why, but he has some strange obsession with mullets.

5) I Love Rocky Road is for myself, of course! Oh! And for my grandpa. Well, and anybody else that loves ice cream as much as we do.

6) I Can't Watch This is for my sister, Jessica... who hasn't really had a TV for like 9 years! Maybe more? You go, Girl!!!

7) E-Bay is for my mom... because the reason she is now a business woman is because she's getting into Ebay.

8) Please Don't Wear That Thong is just too funny to pass up. It totally reminds me of my senior year. And it's funny. That's all...

9) Ode to a Superhero is for Jeffrey. He loves all that kind of stuff... and besides, we like Billy Joel.

10) White and Nerdy is for you. Just teasing. Ummm... hmm... I just really like that song. But I can't really decide who it's for.

11) Amish Paradise is for a few people... Molly, because we SO had an awesome routine to it (even though I was embarrassed... sorry!), Mom because you introduced it to us, and Jodie Fletcher because she was hit on by an Amish guy and that totally makes me laugh (maybe I wish I was hit on by an Amish guy... I didn't even know they did that!!!)

12) In Da Tub is for Ellen DeGeneres because I loved watching her dance to the real song on her show. LOL. Oh... um, and it's for Jeff- he loves taking baths. (Sorry, Honey, had to put that in there...)

13) Grapefruit Diet is for my dad. I think it's just because he likes grapefruits. I don't. My brother in law, Paul, put it nicely when he described Squirt (which is a grapefruit soda)... "it tastes like a rusty lemon."

14) Everything You Know is Wrong is TOTALLY for Molly. She is a silly lady and can seriously sing this entire song word for word.

15) Don't Shoot Mr. Postman is for Mike. And let me tell ya... I so picture Mike doing his mail route while listening to this song.

16) Another One Rides the Bus is for anybody that rides the bus. Maybe for my sisters and me... since we had to ride the city bus to middle school. (Like, who does that!?! Where were school buses?!?)

17) Trash Day is too funny to pass up, again. But it's for Jeff and me... because, um, well, sometimes we get lazy and keep our garbage in our mudroom. And you guessed it- it gets super stinky. (Sorry to Matt, his dad, and my dad that had to experience that one day...)

18) Whatever You Like is for Jeff and me, but it's for any of you too. See, I kinda like the real song, but it's sorta one of those gangsta songs about buying your woman everything she wants. But this one is not like that. Listen to it. It's pretty funny... if you're poor.

19) Rice Rice Baby is for Natalie and all the cookies out there. (I can't explain that to you. I'm afraid only Natalie and Molly will understand.)

20) Pretty Fly for a Rabbi... hmmm... it's just funny, isn't it? Molly, I think this one is for you too... since we used to sing the original song in high school together. We were cool.

21) She Drives Like Crazy is for, ahem. Well, you decide that. Not me, though. Right?
