Yesterday I was able to take Little M over to my sister's house for a quick supper before we headed to church for a meeting. It was fun to spend time with my sister, of course... but it was so nice to hang out with my nieces too. I see them almost every week, at least once (at church or something)... but it just doesn't seem like I get my fill. They are so precious. For info on my sister and her kids, go visit her blog: http://toothpasteonthetoiletseat.blogspot.com/ There are some cute things on there.
After the meeting, we all went to my mom's house for a quick visit with my mom's cousin (who was passing through town) and some visiting with my mom. Little M, Evie, and Eloise all did their VBS songs (and some Sunday school songs) for Grandpa HoJo and MorMor (MorMor is my mom- "mom's mom" in Swedish). They sure were awesome at it! Such cuties.
And of course, there's Audrey, who is too big and old for her own good. She'll be one next week... but she's one going on 5 or something. The tries to talk, tries to walk, and eats "big girl food" now. Oh! And she was standing, holding onto a doll stroller... and then she took steps with it!!! Wow. Time flies. Wasn't she just born!?! What happened?
I noticed, too, that Audrey is going through a stage that her bigger sister, Evie, went through around that age... it's the "See how much we can look like Aunt Molly when she was this age" stage. And I love it. Those little eyes looking up at me were screaming Molly. Cracks me up.
I had the pleasure of having Evie and Audrey here today while Jessica took Eloise to a birthday party. It was fun. I haven't had them over for awhile. Evie is getting so mature! She hardly needs assistance (with ANYTHING), and she even gave me instructions on putting Audrey down for a nap. (LOL) It was great. Oh, and for the record, Evie's back to calling me "Aunt Sisi" again. She went through a boycotting stage because girls her age at church wanted to call me Sisi too, and Evie just wouldn't stand for it... so she called me Aunt Sarah for quite awhile. Aha! But she's back, or should I say I am back! I am now Aunt Sisi again!
I am so blessed to have my nieces so close to me... even though I feel like I miss everything and they grow up way too quickly. They are my cute little monkeys.
