Some of My Favorite Things...

I wanted to share with you some of the things about my house which I love. Sometimes it's helpful to dwell on those things when sometimes, some things are harder to love.

Can you believe I did this!?! Neither can I! Jeff and I went down into our (somewhat dark) basement, in search of the color for the basement windows. He had just done work on this window, repairing the wood, and now we needed to seal it with paint. Um, wrong color. At least we got a good laugh out of it, and we got it painted! We just sort of look like... um... white trash. No big deal!

But here are some things that I do love:

We have this on the wall in our dining room.

I love the stained glass window, old sink, and cute corner of my kitchen.


This is a little corner in my yard.

Surprise! No- not Sydney... this is a stray. Yes, I kind of do love our strays.

I just really love this bush. It looks so pretty up against the garage like this.

My (somewhat overgrown) garden.

Of course, my fire pit.

My cute cute cute garden that Jeffrey and I have worked on all summer... it's coming along!

Here's our house, which I love. (Pretend our steps are painted... hey- at least we have steps!)
