Love Is Not Rude

Today, in the Love Dare book, we learned about love not being rude. Funny, because I don't consider myself a rude person. But when I read the chapter, I felt kinda sad... maybe I do not always act on my best behavior in front of husband. And that's probably VERY important, huh?

Here is something they added at the end of the chapter that pretty much summed it up, but also stuck to me:

1) Guard the Golden Rule. Treat your spouse the same way you'd want to be treated. (Luke 6:31)

2) No double standards. Be as considerate to your spouse as you are to strangers, friends, and coworkers.

3) Honor requests. Consider what your spouse already asked you to do or not do. If in doubt, then ask.

Can I just say... WOW! I see myself failing (a lot) in the first two. I know what I'll be working on this week!
