Tis The Season...

God woke me up really early this morning. You know how I know it was God? Because for the past couple days, I've been so busy that I haven't made time to quiet down and read or pray. I was really missing it last night, but I was so exhausted. So I told God I miss Him, and that I wanted to spend time with him tomorrow. Off to bed I went- kind of early, actually.
Well, God missed me too... so He woke me up at 5:21am. I stirred and tried to readjust myself in bed so that I could fall back asleep. But when God wills, He will make a way. I was NOT falling asleep. I finally, around 5:45am, listened to God's prompting to get up and get out of bed. And yes, I went right for my prayer journals and my devotional book. I'm glad I spent the early part of the morning with God.

Yesterday was a busy day! I picked up Little M from school around 4pm. We came home and played outside. It was a beautiful day. Maybe a tiny bit chilly, but hey- it's better than freezing and snow. Little M did sidewalk chalk, played on the ride-on car that is too small for her, and blew bubbles.

A little while later, my sister came over wither her little girls, and all of us colored and decorated Easter eggs. It was a lot of fun, and it was sort of funny too. On two occassions, Eloise dropped her egg on the table (it cracked) and then not even 3 seconds later, Evie did the same. I kid you not- this happened TWICE! Jessica and I were laughing a lot.

Jessica brought supper over too, so we all ate supper together. It was fun to have company... and I think Little M really enjoyed it too.

After they headed home, Little M got a chance to decorate a visor too! She has been bugging me about the foamy letters. My mother in law gave me some foam stickers, and Little M saw them and has been very interested. I told her we should save them for a special project. While I was at the Dollar Store, I found some foam visors and some foam flowers. So I thought it would make a great spring project.
