Easter and Post-Easter Updates

Easter weekend came and went very quickly. Maybe too quickly. We had my cousin and his fiance in town. They arrived Friday and stayed until Sunday morning. It was great to see him again- it had been about 7 yrs since the last time we saw him. He's all grown up now!

I have made two trips to Children's Memorial in Chicago. One yesterday and one today. Yesterday I met with my cardiologist to discuss the fluid in my belly and the hernias. I had an ultrasound done on my abdomen as well as an x-ray. Today I went back for another ultrasound, because they were concerned that the hernias are not in the groin, but perhaps near my ovaries. The ultrasound today was tricky. They could not find my hernias well because of all the fluid. How frustrating! I will wait to hear from the doctor.

I have been so tired this week and sort of unmotivated. I am just hoping and praying things feel better and start looking better soon.

Our foster care and adoption process is on hold for now, because we can't get into a class. I'm very discouraged. However, if I'm sick and dealing with stuff... I don't know if I should be doing the classes right now anyway.

I know this is quick and boring, but that's about all for the updates.
