I like to shop at Woodmans. If you're from the area, you probably know what store I'm talking about. It is totally awesome... the prices are pretty great too! It has EVERYTHING you can imagine as far as groceries go. And the selection is great when it comes to brands. I, personally, usually stick to generic brands. I went in the store last night with my list of oh, about 15 things. I came out with WAY more than I had on my list. They have shopping carts in the front of the store with discounted items... some are discontinued or some are dented cans/boxes. I hit those carts first and loaded up with all kinds of "damaged" items... for CHEAP! How exciting! I got jar baby food for 25 cents a jar! And I got toddler tylonal for 25 cents! Hmm... canned veggies, boxed items, etc... all for really cheap!
I continued shopping and came across a freezer of discounted meats! That was fun too! Turkey, salami, and sausages... for low low prices.
My shopping cart was full to the top (I should really carry my camera with me so I could've shown you!) and I only spent $66.49. And these are groceries that will last the whole month! Plus! We feed Little M and her mom most of the time when we cook! So it's going further than just the two of us!
I just had to share my great news. I love it when things like that happen! Don't you?
