You know, I was thinking... in 1 Corinthians 13, it says that love keeps no record of wrongs done. If I truly loved myself, would I really be doing my "Not Me!Mondays?" Yeah... because when you love yourself, you learn to laugh at yourself. Right?
Well let's see if I can dig deep into the archives of my not me's...
* I did not drive all the way to Virgil this morning to pick up some freecycle things... 2 of which I will not be able to use. Virgil is about a half hour away... and it feels even longer. Why would I be so crazy as to drive all the way out there?
* I did not get a shopping cart closed in the thrift store door, and therefore, it did not fall over on top of me and bruise my leg and foot. I am not that careless... especially after having my whole bottom bruised last week from falling down the stairs. (Don't people have automatic doors anymore!?!)
* I did not throw cinnamon bread out from 2 yrs ago. I do not want to say much more.
* I was not too lazy to shake the "chunks" out of the laundry (a-hem... the throw up laundry), and therefore had to wash the load twice.
* I did not skim through the last chapters of my foster care book... but if I had, then I would've had a good reason, such as they were common knowledge and quite boring.
* When I started my adoption book, I did not skim that one as well... and if I had, I wouldn't have been overly critical- thinking that people wrote the book for idiots.
* I did not have rewash dishes that my husband had already washed... if I had, it wouldn't have been because I left the rag out that I cleaned the throw up with... and he used it for dishes... eeew!
I'm drawing a blank as for the rest of the things I have not done this week. I'm so tired... maybe that's why... Hope you enjoyed these!
Um, when you blog about throw up, it really makes me want to, um, throw up. Thanks for that! ;)
