25 Random Things About Me...

1. I have never been out of this country. (But if I ever do get to get out, I'd love to go to Africa!)
2. I have had 8 surgeries... 5 of them were open heart.
3. I do not get hyper or crazy about famous people... they actually kind of make me sick. =(
4. To contradict #3, I have every Hanson CD... I did used to be obsessed with them.
5. I am not named after anybody, but my husband and I find it funny that my name is Sarah Elizabeth... both Sarah and Elizabeth (in the Bible) could not have children. And we decided that if for some miraculous reason I had a baby (and it was a boy), we'd just HAVE to name him Isaac John. ;o) We are SO FUNNY!
6. I am the princess. I seriously am. Sarah means "God's Princess."
7.I have never broken a bone on my own. The doctors have broken my rib cage several times, but other than that... I'm good!
8. I think I'm addicted to chocolate... dark chocolate to be exact.
9. I love keeping up with my blog... and I follow my sisters' blogs and my bff's blogs too. It's fun stuff!
10. I don't like to dust or scrub, but I LOVE to vacuum and do laundry.
11. I don't like to follow rules.
12. My husband had a crush on my sister before he met me. AND! All the guys I dated liked one of my sisters at some point. One guy even called me my sisters name! YIKES!
13. I cracked my sister's head open with a View Master. And I also broke a window because I tried to throw a shoe at my other sister and missed. Oh! And there is still, to this day, a hole in the wall at my dad's house from when I slammed the door against it when I was mad at my mom for sending me to my room. (I have a temper.)
14. I would rather camp, fish, and bike than go to a 5 star hotel.
15. My heart and my legs have been in medical text books.
16. I cry when I see road kill.
17. When I was a baby, a blanket that my grandma had made was handed down to me from my older sisters. I slept with that blanket up until the night before I got married... so 24 yrs... and I still have it. It's 31 yrs old!
18. Curse words and nasty or rude comments/pictures give me the gag reflex. So do "hate groups." Ooh! And so do racist or prejudice comments.
19. I LOVE CATS! I have had 4 cats in my life... Ramona, Riley, Sydney, and Bailey. And don't think I'm stoppin' there!!!
20. I don't like to talk on the phone... but every day I HAVE to call my dad to say hi and check on him.
21. If money grew on trees, I'd burn the tree.
22. I love good deals... so I cut coupons, shop at thrift stores, check out Craigslist, and do Freecycle. Call me crazy, but it's fun!
23. I have the best family in the whole world. And I have the best inlaws in the whole world too. AND! I have the best added ("adopted-in") sisters... Jodie and Karen. =)
24. I wear (and LOVE) Crocs... so deal with it! =)
25. I love my life, but I love Who gave it to me. I am here because of God... I am a miracle... and I am created in HIS image. For that, I am amazed... and for Him, I will live!
