Oh Nooooooooooooo!

I fear that I am turning into one of those people I hoped NOT to be. I am not only referring to Jeff as "Daddy" and me as "Mommy" when talking to the cat, but I have the camera out to capture every cute little thing he does!!!

He has really been funny since we moved here...

The first time he went in the basement, he walked around and CRIED! I told him to come up with me, but he just kept walking around, crying. So I went up without him, and he continued to cry. I had to go down there, pick him up, and carry him upstairs.

Now he likes the basement. He goes down with me pretty much any time I go down. And he'll walk around a bit, not crying. And then he'll go right back up when I go back up.

He has been doing strange things in/with his cage. We leave it out for him, for a "time out" tool and also for him to use if he wants to. Much to our surprise, he actually has been sleeping in there a lot since we moved here! After picking him up at my mom's (to bring to the new house, for the first time), I just threw his leash into the cage. Well, one day, I saw his leash laying across the living room floor. I asked Jeff why it was out, and he said "I didn't take it out." So if Jeff didn't do it, and I didn't do it... that leaves Sydney. Another time, I walked into the room, and all I saw was Sydney's back end sticking out of his cage... strange!

He looked out the window one evening, nothing was out there, but he looked out and then hissed. Then just walked away...

Yesterday, I was unpacking some things and had packing paper layed out flat (to return to my mom) under the table. Sydney got in between it like a sandwich and stayed there for quite awhile.

Then, today, I was putting something under the sink in the bathroom, and of course, Sydney has to interfere. He walked right in, and settled in.

He's so cute and so strange!!! Maybe he really IS related to us. =)
