It's Sunday... on Sundays Jeff and I try to have my grandparents over for supper. Tonight we did. It was Grandpa's favorite- BREAKFAST! We had pancakes (Grandpa had peanut butter on his, because for some reason, he likes them that way!), cheesey scrambled eggs (Jeff loves those!), hash browns (mmm... I love those!), turkey bacon (for Gram, since she can't have pig bacon!), and strawberries! It was yummy... and somehow, I managed to be able to cook all that food! I very much impressed myself... especially since I didn't ruin anything... not even the pancakes!
After supper, we drove over to Lord's Park. It's only about a 1/4 mile away. (Jeff and I had our wedding reception there... at the pavilion!) We enjoyed a BEAUTIFUL evening... fed the ducks (actually, it was mostly geese!)... and the baby goslings. And we walked around a little. We saw the deer that are fenced in there, and we saw a cardinal... that pretty much made Grandma's day! It was so nice out, and I really enjoyed it.
After dropping Grandma and Grandpa off, Jeff drove me past the house we're hoping to buy, and then over to Dundee to the bike trail, where we walked a little ways and got Dairy Queen... we were going to walk some more, but the bugs were bad (near the river, they get worse). So we drove home... but no matter... it was a great day!
