One of my favorite memories was on a Christmas Eve... my dad realized he had left a gift at work. He let me drive all the way to Northbrook (from Elgin)... on my permit. It was snowing and I was getting nervous. When we got to UL (where he worked) he ran in to get the gift and then came right back. I knew he'd want me to drive to get the experience, but he was so sweet and could tell how scared I was. He suggested we switch. He drove home (and it started snowing harder), and we listened to Christmas music on the radio on our way home. It was so fun... just Daddy and me.
I do have more to blog about. But I'm so tired. I never got to finish this post. Can we make tomorrow be part two of this one? Thanks!
