Christmas Music

One of my favorite Christmas memories is listening to Christmas music as a child. My parents had made 3 Christmas tapes from record albums that they enjoyed. We listened to these Christmas tapes every Christmas season- over and over again. It's no wonder why they started to get worn out.

Certain songs on those tapes will remind me of certain parts of Christmas- decorating the tree, making Christmas cookies, watching the lights twinkle on the tree, or studying our Christmas village that was so perfectly set up in our living room. Whatever the memory, whatever the song, I love the memories and I sometimes miss those simpler days.






One year (when my two older sisters had already been married for a couple years), my dad compiled our Christmas tapes onto CD for each of us. We each now have all those memorable songs on CD- three CDs. So now, as an adult, I can listen to the same music (same as in- exactly the same version, singer, same everything!).
