Class Reunion

A handful of my friends have asked me if I knew anything about a high school reunion this year. (Yes, I graduated from high school in 2000... so this would've been my 10 yr high school reunion.) The one thing I heard a couple years ago was that one particular girl was organizing it. Okay, cool, whatever. In all honesty, I didn't want to go. I talk to all the people I'd care to talk to again from high school. And with Facebook, the convenience of connecting with old peers is amazing. So I didn't see a need or a desire (on my part) to even attend a reunion.

Well, word had been going around again about when our reunion was/is. We have about 3 months left in this year and then we will not be celebrating 10 yrs out of high school. Can we just say that our high school class is lame? Seriously, people. How could you have not planned better? (I bet you're all thinking "If you're so worried about it, Sarah, why didn't you just plan it?" See previous paragraph for your answer.)

I just got word yesterday (yesterday!) that our reunion is Thanksgiving weekend. Oh my. We do plan well, don't we, class of 2000?

Well, cross me off your list of reunion-ites... I have family in town that weekend and I'd rather spend time with them. LOL.

I may or may not have commented on the post (on Facebook) about our reunion- telling them that Thanksgiving weekend is a bad weekend to have a class reunion. And there may or may not have been three people that agreed with me when I just looked back on that post. LOL. Oh how I love my job...

...and oh how embarrassing it is to be class of 2000 from EHS. (You are entitled to your own opinion, so if you don't agree with me, don't worry. I never cared for high school drama/life anyway.)

  1. At least you heard something about a reunion. I'm not sure if I can be bothered to go, but before this I had heard nothing anyway.
