Randomness

I talked to the doctor's assistant on the phone yesterday... I told her about all my swelling that runs from right under my arm all the way down my body and almost to my knee. Do you know what she says to me in reply? "You have to remember that you're not as young as you once were... you're getting up there in age and will recover a lot slower now."

"Up there in age?" Good gravy! (I stole that new phrase from my mother in law... I like it!) I'm only 28 (okay, almost 29) people! That is SO not up there in age. Give me a break!!!

I've been sleeping on the couch all day (to recover) and also at night. But last night I decided to attempt sleeping in my bed, with my husband. I liked it. It seemed so much cozier and I slept longer each chunk of time I slept. Hooray for my bed and my husband and also for recovery (even though I'm getting up there in age and it will take longer...)

Speaking of getting up there in age! SOMEBODY is getting up there in age!

Happy birthday to my Knight in Shining Armor, my hero, Prince Charming, etc... It's his special day today.
