Ever since she played it, it's been so special to me... she let me borrow the CD it was off of, and I had a copy made of it. Of course, that was years ago and those CDs don't last. I finally went online and ordered the CD for myself.
Since the day we got the call that we had been chosen by a birth mother, this song has been going through my head. It has been, is, and will be so special to me and to our unique situation.
I printed up the lyrics to the song and put it inside an album I made for our birth mom... it's for her to keep the letters and photos of the baby that we send her in the months and years ahead. But I started the album off with the lyrics to this song as well as my first letter- telling her that she is making my dreams come true.
Girl that song made me cry, hard! I know how hard this waiting is for you, and I can't imagine what the birth mother is going through, but I praise God that she is doing the right thing, and I pray hard for you and Jeff, and this precious gift from God. You two are what I hope Shaun and I can be when God blesses us with a baby. I love you guys so much! Thank you for sharing that song with me. It tugs hard at the heartstrings. ;)
