God

I was praying today, and I was apologizing to God for not being "on time" with my "God time." Usually I do it in the morning... right when Jeff leaves for work. But today I didn't. I was in the middle of something. And then I got in the middle of something else. And then I needed a nap. But after my nap, I sat down to pray and read. And that's when I apologized for being late.

But as I was apologizing, it occurred to me that God doesn't care if I'm late. He doesn't have a schedule to keep. He doesn't have an appointment or a long line of people waiting for Him. He is there any time I need to talk. Wow! He's never too busy for me!

So while you stand in the check out line waiting your turn, or when you wait for a friend to call you back, or when you try to schedule an appointment at the doctor's earliest availability, don't forget Who is always there... any time, any place, any reason.
