Lovin' Fall

Don't you love fall? Last night I hosted a girls night and one of my friends brought over baked apples. They were amazing. She knows just how to make 'em too! I drink cider almost daily... lovin' it. Jeff and I walk outside and say "Mmmm... do you smell that Canadian air?" It's working it's way closer to us. The leaves are gorgeous! And today? Today is one of my favorite days of fall... Pumpkin Farm day with my nieces. Jeff and I have done this every year starting with Evie, the oldest, when she was only a year old! Couple years later we added her sister, Eloise. And now, this year, we add one year old Audrey! It's going to be a blast! I love traditions, and this one is one of my favorites.

Also in fall is Thanksgiving. (Yum. No need to explain why I like that day.) And right before winter is officially here, is my birthday. That's a great day too!

As I mentioned in another post, my family didn't really celebrate Halloween... and Jeff and I don't either. We put up fall decorations, but not Halloween decorations. And yes, I am guilty of taking advantage of the candy sales going on. (Tee hee) We pass out candy or whatever for the Trick-or-Treaters... in fact, I usually pick something healthy (crackers, teddy grahams, etc...) and add a piece of candy. Then we also pass out tracts. Yep- we're those kind of people.

Stay tuned... probably even later today... for Pumpkin Farm news and photos!

  1. I like your blog, little girl.   When I grow up, I'm gonna have a blog, too!   And I'm glad you like fall, too, because that's what most of our summer was!
