Cruise Ships

We really had a wonderful time in Florida. We were able to stay at Jeff's aunt's house there. His aunt and uncle live in Illinois, but they bought a vacation home in Florida and they share it with friends and family. What a blessing! So basically, we had this entire house to ourselves, and his Grandpa Bob and Grandma Ina lived just minutes from the house... so we were able to do some visiting while we were there as well. On Monday night, they took us out to eat at a yummy Chinese restaurant. Mmmm! It was delicious. And Jeff and I tried the hot mustard there for the first time... it sure cleared up our sinuses. (We made Grandma Ina laugh.) On Friday we went to their house for pizza (and salad... right Ina?). Their house is beautiful! Too bad it's so far away from my hospital and such... or I'd move right in!

Grandpa Bob warned us about things like snakes and fire ants. He also helped us maintain the temperature in the pool. Grandma Ina gave us ideas of things to see and do. For example, she works at a port where cruise ships go out. She suggested we go out one evening to watch the ships go out. That was one of the neatest experiences! Jeff and I have never been on a cruise, so I guess we never realized how massive those ships are! We ate at a cute waterfront restaurant called "Fish Lips." We requested to sit outside so we could watch the ships. Wow. It was just amazing. Here are some videos I took, just to give you an idea:
