Atlanta

We left Elgin around 7:30pm. Our first destination was Atlanta, Georgia. We drove all night long and into the next day. We arrived in Atlanta around noon. Once we got checked into our hotel, we both crashed immediately after our heads hit the pillows! The next morning we went to Pastor Charles Stanley's church which was about 2 minutes from our hotel. No, we did not get our picture taken with Stanley. No, we did not get to meet him. So no, we did not even shake his hand or get him to sign a book. We had hoped, but that church was too big to even allow him to greet the members. Bummer for us, but so it goes. He is just another human being, right?
