You're Still There?

So... I thought nobody was reading my blog, and I quit posting...

...just kidding. I just wanted to make sure you were still there.


Well, the good news? Catholic Charities sent my paper work back to me and I sorted through it. I gathered up all the paperwork that was strictly for foster care, and I'm going to send it in today (or tomorrow... whichever seems to work out better for me). I'm sending it to the office where they handle that aspect of things. So they don't take any more families for adoption. So? I can still do foster care, right? Of course I can. Because they need good families. So here I go... sending it back.

(Side note- another piece of good news... we have a printer! Some friends from church gave us one (it's even a photo printer!). We just had to buy a cable for it (which I got for free using my Target gift card that I got from the Chicago Tribune). It's up and running now, and I am enjoying printing things this morning... life is good!)

As for adoption... I'm kind of tired of everybody asking me how it's going. I know people care and I know they're concerned and what not. But I have to keep repeating to people that everything is on hold and that things kind of got flopped over into our laps, and now we start all over. Why can't people just read my blog? Then they'd know what's going on... ha!

I have a lot more to be blogging about, but I must get some other things done first. I will be back, though... and yes. You are welcome for the warning.
