Water Update

Okay, would you believe me if I told you that our basement is getting MORE water in it? And we haven't used the water here... so... I'm guessing it's coming in from outside. It got up to 55 degrees here, and it's been raining all day. Not only that, but we had FEET of snow that melted all at once. So... the water has to go somewhere, right? Why not in my basement, since there's already water there! I guess I'd be semi-okay with that plan if the drains in the floor were draining the water... but they're not. So... there's a nice little wading pool down there for the kitties. Ugh. I will be happy when this is all fixed and cleaned up for good. I was just telling Jeffrey about my big plans for our basement. I'm going to totally organize it down there (if you've been down there, you know it BADLY needs it). And then I'm going to clean up one section of the basement... paint it, and make it a play room for our nieces and for our future children or foster children. =) If this water stuff would ever quit, I could begin my fun project!
Please pray for us. We need it patience, but we also need a dry basement.
(I have not taken pictures of it, because this is not really something I'd like to remember... ha ha ha ha!)
