I had a cardiology appointment on Friday, and learned that I am not lacking in protiens, the fluid is not from or near my heart, and best of all- I'm not pregnant... ha ha ha ha. I told them I wasn't. But they didn't believe me. That was sort of frustrating.
They increased my Lasix, which is a diuretic, and we hope that will help the fluid in my belly. They also gave me a referral to a doctor at Northwestern to look at my gall stones. That way, any medical attention I need because of the gall bladder, I will be close to my cardiologists.
Only 3 days of work left... forever! Wow! It sounds crazy. I am so glad that we have God to trust, because this sounds like something that Jeff and I cannot do on our own. I am excited to be done for some reasons, and sad for other reasons. But in the end, I need to do what's right... and all answers point to this.
Christmas is sneaking up on me. I am not totally ready, but I'm looking forward to being ready! Tomorrow, Jeffrey and I will bake cookies. Friday we'll finish our shopping. It should be a great time of year!
I will have to add a note on here about my birthday. I even have some pictures. Some cute things happened... and I want to mention them. However, I must run off now for Bible study...

ReplyDeleteGoing thru a stack o' stuff and here is your Change of Address card, which I had dutifully noted in my address book back when I first got it... but I had NOT noticed the blog URL! How did I miss that? All these entries and I had not read a ONE until now! Boy, do I have some catching up to do!
