It's been awhile!

I'm sorry that I've not kept up with the blog! Life has been keeping us so busy lately. We are busy with work (Jeffrey works lots of over time... bless him for that!). And of course, we're busy with church things. A bunch of girlfriends and I started up a Bible study... it is absolutely awesome. We meet every other week, and discuss "life topics"... such as forgiveness, prayer, and now we're working on beauty. I'm also back as an AWANA leader for the preschoolers- the Cubbies. Whew! They sure keep me on my toes! I love my table this year- they're so fun. I am also in choir at church again this year. We are singing some great songs... I've enjoyed pretty much every single one of them. And then I'm still playing clarinet in church orchestra, and singing on our praise team too. Jeffrey and I still lead the young adult group at our church... and we're enjoying that. He keeps busy teaching Sunday school for that group and I like to try to keep up with organizing events and the behind the scenes things.
We still love our new house. I'm sad that we're both working full time, because I'd love to spend more time working on the house... mostly outside... but inside too. It doesn't need a lot of work, but I just don't feel like I can keep up.
The kitties are doing well... Bailey is getting to be a big (not chubby... just growing) girl! She's so crazy. She loves to pick on her brother, and he's pretty much terrified of her. We take them to the vet tonight to get tested for FIV and all that fun stuff... we're praying that they both come out negative... but we'll see...
Some of you have asked and have been very patient with us... we are finally thinking about starting our adoption process. We hope to look into it more in the new year... early 2009. We will see where things take us. But hopefully it won't be too long now. When we do begin that, I am sure I will have a LOT to blog!
I hope this catches you up a little bit. Again, I'm sorry about my bad blogging. I will work on it more.
