Lately...

(Girls group for glow in the dark goofy golfing...) (...Guy's group...)

To catch you up to date...

Wednesday I was able to go to the end of the year picnic that my school had. I was thrilled to see many of my students... welcomed all the hugs... and I even welcomed getting climbed (yes, you read that correctly... CLIMBED!) by Adrianna (and therefore getting very muddy). It was a joy to see everybody... staff, children, and parents. I guess the parents didn't really know why I wasn't there for the last 2 months, so I was able to tell some of them what had happened.

After the picnic, we had a suprise baby shower for one of my bosses... she has been trying to have a baby for 7 years!!! Finally, she got pregnant (without infertility!!!) and is due in August. We were so excited for her, and HAD to throw her a shower. It was so much fun. Shopping for her was fun, but seeing her get so excited was a ton of fun too.

One of my co-workers, Janell (who has also become a really good friend) decided to make a CD for everybody at work. We are all off for the summer, so the CD was a fun way to stay together. She asked us each for one song (a favorite or whatever) and then put all the songs on a CD for each of us. What a neat idea!!! So I get to listen to all these songs and think about my co-workers. My favorite song on there is actually in Spanish and it's kind of hip-hop sounding... very fun! (I think Jeff is getting tired of listening to that same one over and over!)

Well, the ants came back, and I was freaking out. Who knows what's going on... I just can't wait to move. (ha ha ha...)

I had my nieces- Evie (4) and Eloise (2) over yesterday morning. They played and then we had pancakes for brunch. They loved it... I couldn't really make them fast enough... ha ha ha! It was fun to get to hang out with them again, since I couldn't babysit while I was recovering.

Last night we had an LTA event (this is the young adult group that Jeff and I lead at church... stands for Living the Adventure). We went glow in the dark goofy golfing and then went to my sister, Molly's, house for grilled hot dogs. It was fun, but I think most of us were tired out from busy weeks. We learned that your score is NOT supposed be the highest, nor is it supposed to match your birth year... so yes... I lost... my score was 81. Jeff could not believe a score that high was possible.

Today, both Jeff and I feel like we're coming down with head colds. We have a wedding to go to this afternoon, and I hope we can make it through without caughing or sneezing. It'll be nice for us to get out, though... sort of like a date. We need that.
